The curated image of ourselves that we put forward on social media leaves a lot of real human experience hidden. I am drawn to those raw emotions we keep tighter to the chest. Feelings of loneliness, isolation, struggles with self esteem and body image, as well as the impolite subjects of stress, sex, menstruation, and death. My drawings with ink, brush, and watercolor convey an intimacy of feeling directly from my hand to another individual while my silkscreens, comics, and zines express a common ground that can be shared with a larger number of people through multiples
